SOB

It seems that lately I've been more short of breath than usual but there's not really been increased sputum production.

So my question is, what do you do other than inhalers, extra Xopenex (or albuterol) treatments, etc. I think I'll call my doctor and ask for a round of steroids, maybe that will help. Any other suggestions?

You didn't mention this to me!

Other than what you've mentioned, the only thing I can think of is changing how you eat. If I overeat, eat too many summer vegetables, or eat too much sugar - any of those things will bloat me and then I'll feel SOB. Actually, like I'm feeling right now.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">

Other than that, steroids and inhalers. Are you making sure you're drinking lots of water?

Do you have a POX that you could check your O2 sat?</end quote></div>

No, and a week or so ago my endocrinologist asked me how my 02 sat have been & I said I hadn't been in in a month or so to check & asked why he said that & he said my legs looked more moddled (not sure if correct word) than usual.

I couldn't believe he didn't have one available to check it with!<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif" border="0">
