Lately I have been so hungry. I eat and eat, but it doesn't matter, I still feel like my stomach is empty. I take 8 enzymes and have no real nasty stomach problems so I find it strange. I haven't gained weight since this increase in apetite. The only change I have made is I workout a lot more now that I am feeling alittle better. I just feel like I have tape-worm or something. My roomate teases me all the time about being a ganit.

Just wondering if anyone else has this problem and will it go away...haha I am a student and am eating away my student loan!

Lol, I wish I had that problem, of late I've been the exact opposite. However, a couple years ago when I was really working out and exercising hard I found I couldn't get enough food. I would usually go do weights 4 times a week and some form of cardio 3-4 times a week as well. I weighed about 160lbs and even with the increased exercising still didn't put on much weight (I think I topped out at just over 165 at the all time max) but I did find I was eating ... all the time. Luckily while I lived on my own I still lived close enough to crash the parentals a couple times a week for food =D. My metabolism eventually evened out with the exercise and I wasn't CONSTANTLY hungry anymore, but my food intake was still high. Don't know if that helps, especially with the student loan problem but its my 2 cents =D.

It may be the type of food you're eating, which is an easy enough solution to fix. Student diets aren't particularly well known for being balanced. Are you eating a lot of empty calorie foods? Be sure to eat enough complex carbs.

Also, have you been tested for CFRD? One of the symptoms is that your body responds to food by feeling hungry. It's an off chance that this is the case, because you'd probably be feeling quite lousy by now. In any case, don't forget to have an OGTT at your next clinic appointment.

And if you haven't made a clinic appointment in awhile (I was a student once, I know how it is) you might wanna check in with them. 1oz of prevention is worth a pound of crap you'd rather not deal with later.

You sound very healthy to me. You are feeling better and your body needs the fuel. If you are eating healthy and working out, then keep it up.

I eat very healthy and the more I eat especially if I start out early in the morning, the more I eat during the day. If you are very active and you are eating and not gaining, eat more but space it out during the day. Maybe you just need to add on the extra carbs before a workout to bulk up and gain. I love cliff bars (just one) before a workout. I am sure you will achieve your goals.
