As my lifestyle changes, so do my hobbies and free time!
During my first marriage, all I did was practice my Iaido and build 1/24 scale model cars (I've got about 24 built) for the first 6 years. I then found how "riviting" Aikido was, and all I did was work on the weekdays, and practice Aikido and Iaido on the weekends! (Felt like a weekend "Samurai"! )
After my shoulder injury, I got into 1/10 scale Radio Controlled Cars, and did that for a few years (still "tinker" with it on and off).
And, when the ex was home, I'd rent DVD's and watch them on my computer in my own room! (so and ed)
Now, I spend a lot of time taking my wife, Yuka shopping, (Especially when it's time to get away from the MnL!) and we sometimes can sit at home to watch DVD's!
The MnL (we call her Terror-Bear) keeps us on our toes!
Since I was young, had a big interest in firearms, but was only at the age to allow air rifles. When I came to Japan, my Brother-in-Law held on to them, till they got too rusted and he had to scrap them...however, since I've come to visit him and my sister in CO, we've gone out to the range to fire "REAL" firearms! I've enjoyed it so much, I kinda got back into it. Japan doesn't allow firearms, so I'm back to the air rifles, and such! But, this way, I can refreshen my knowledge and get a better idea what firearm I want to own when I return to the States.
