If I am by myself with not "tasks" to do I like to play keyboard and play around with creating songs. I read, but havent gotten any new books for awhile now. The best spare time I have is when my hubby & I play chess on our front porch in the summertime. We have stayed up all night when the games get really intense. I also do crossword puzzles & love the water so in the summer I am always at my sisters lake house. My animals keep me entertained also. My computer & the telephone which are my connections to the outside world usually. Unfortunately with the CF stuff, motherhood & marriage there isnt a whole bunch of "spare time".

Let's see...usually I either draw, read, write fiction, swim or play video games. Between talking with my boyfriend, that is. Or if I'm lucky, my best friend will get some time off and come to see me. I also have to keep up with my two cats *lol* And, of course, the internet is a main part of my day.

As my lifestyle changes, so do my hobbies and free time!

During my first marriage, all I did was practice my Iaido and build 1/24 scale model cars (I've got about 24 built) for the first 6 years. I then found how "riviting" Aikido was, and all I did was work on the weekdays, and practice Aikido and Iaido on the weekends! (Felt like a weekend "Samurai"! )
After my shoulder injury, I got into 1/10 scale Radio Controlled Cars, and did that for a few years (still "tinker" with it on and off).
And, when the ex was home, I'd rent DVD's and watch them on my computer in my own room! (so and ed)

Now, I spend a lot of time taking my wife, Yuka shopping, (Especially when it's time to get away from the MnL!) and we sometimes can sit at home to watch DVD's!
The MnL (we call her Terror-Bear) keeps us on our toes!
Since I was young, had a big interest in firearms, but was only at the age to allow air rifles. When I came to Japan, my Brother-in-Law held on to them, till they got too rusted and he had to scrap them...however, since I've come to visit him and my sister in CO, we've gone out to the range to fire "REAL" firearms! I've enjoyed it so much, I kinda got back into it. Japan doesn't allow firearms, so I'm back to the air rifles, and such! But, this way, I can refreshen my knowledge and get a better idea what firearm I want to own when I return to the States.
