Just got off of the phone with one of the nurses at the Pulm. Clinic. I called to check to see if they had results on the cultures that they did on Tuesday. The final results should be in later today but both of them are growing normal respitory flora. No PA. I am always nervous to call b/c I am worried that they are going to grow it but not this time. The nurse told me that PA usually grows in the first 24-48 hours. I just thought that I would share the good news with everyone.

That is GREAT news!!

I find that info about the PA very interesting. I have been, very impatiently, waiting for the culture results on Kayla. Her and Hannah had clinic last Thursday, the 21st. I got results for Hannah on Monday that said MRSA and normal Flora. At that time Kayla's read MRSA and normal Flora, plus an unidentified 'something'. It was sent off to ?? someplace for further identification. I guess I was thinking it could come back PA, but now I am really freaked out! That should had already been back by now. What on earth are they finding<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">
