starting to lose it...

Not that scheduling my son's bronchoscopy and PICC line wasn't enough today...(dealing with his first hospitalization is of course the top priority for us this week), but the fundraiser I'm in charge of for my children's elementary school is scheduled to run the week we will be in the hospital. I told the PTA members what was going on and, did they offer to take over?...NOOO, they said, "boy, you're going to be really busy!"..

The clincher, though, was hearing from my favorite aunt tonight. She was just diagnosed with breast cancer and will undergo a lumpectomy to check everything out on the 12th.

Ok...so I haven't cried since Tuesday. I'm officially in need of kleenex now. I can't deal. I need a night to blubber like a baby. I'll feel better tomorrow.
