Still in the hospital

Good morning everyone sorry that i havent posted in a while. Ashton got admitted on Wednesday night.. No RSV but he has pneumonia.. so he is in the hospital on IV antibiotics for 10-14 days(also a tune up) i hate that he needed one this young but we do what we have to!! He is on Gent and ceozin( i think that what it is) sorry about the spelling... His pneumonia is very slight in his right lower lobe so they are doing CPT 4 times a day... Sometimes when he sleeps his O2 drops in the 80's so they have had to use oxygen a little but not last night he stayed right around 92-95% so that is good!!! well he his upstairs playing by himself so i need to get back we are looking at 5-9 more days here so right before thanksgiving possibly go home we are at riley hospital for children in room 3920 talk to everyone later...

christi , I am glad to hear he is doing better and yes it is hitting alot of cfers that pnemonia. But with the antibiotics,you will see great improvements in such a short time.They used tobi and sepamine with my 4 yr old on iv this past month. It is hard on you and i totally understand , but the good thing hopefully the worst has passed and things will stay better.good luck!

I'm so sorry you have to be in the hospital. I will keep Ashton in my thoughts, I'm so glad he's already doing better and hopefully you'll be home sooner rather than later. I've heard Riley's is a wonderful hospital, I'm sure he's getting great care!
