Stranded, like on "Gilligan's Island"

After noticing how many had looked over this spool with no replies, I thought I'd re-structure it a bit for those who had not yet seen it, and hope those who already would may have something to add.

There was a question I recalled from my childhood, in regards to whom I would want "in my world", if I were living on my own island. I was still in Elementary School at the time, and believe the question was in regards to what kind of security I had in my surroundings. I was being seen by a psychologist (I think it was due to the beginning of a potential social problem in getting along with peers, while learning to also deal with cf then.), who had asked me this question.
Psychologically, I didn't see any significance to it back then, but it was interesting to recall what I said then, and what I might say now.
The question was directed in this fashion:
"(You still have CF to deal with, but) take away your concern for medications, because they would all be provided, but you are on a deserted island. You don't have to live there alone, but who and what would you want to be there with you?"
I started listing the actors/actresses from the tv shows I watched, as soon as I got home after school in those days, which included the cast of "Gilligan's Island" Partly cause the question brought up that image in my mind. So, for those of you familiar with that program, and "The Brady Bunch", would also know I wanted Gilligan there for laughs, MaryAnn and Ginger for the company, and I think even Marsha (without her going "OH, My Nose!") on the island for company.
With this question on the boards for almost three days, and no answer, I decided to add something that was in the back of my mind, but never really expressed on this forum.
This may put me in an uncomfortable spot, but I'm going to bring it up anyway.
A few days back, coltsfan (Lindsey) had posted something in regards to people who do not give much consideration to those who have coughing spells.
Well, it had brought back a memory in which I had difficulty with, in which I found more troublesome than that. We all know how "powerful" we can leave a bathroom when we are done. I had to deal with that challenge from the first grade. In fact, I would believe the reason my self-confidence was so low before I started the martial arts, was because of how much teasing I had as a child, then.
I think this subject may had come up once on this forum several months back, but I was curious how other CF'rs had dealt with this, and don't think the question was asked this way.
Realizing I had changed the format a little in here, it would now belong in the CF adult, but then again, CF adults aren't the only ones who have do deal with this problem and "equally stupid people".
Even today, I still make as many precautions to avoid such confrontations when I need to use the bathroom, and try to keep a little more etiquette than some others. I won't go into details as to how I had dealt with such a challenge while in High School, etc., but it was not a healthy way back then.
Anyone interested in replying to this, is purely welcome!

So did you take the martial arts so you could beat up the people
who made fun of you?<br>
Seriously,if i have to go in public restroom that way,i just get in
and out as quick as i can or at least flush a few times
inbetween.Though i will admit that i've sat in the stall a few
times till no one was in the restroom so i could make a clean get

That's actually my current curriculum, besides light a few matches, sometimes.
As for the martial arts, it was to at least give me enough confidence to stand up for myself in many matters of life. (though that was included!)

Okay, so yes very familiar with Giligan and the brady bunch. As for who I would take with me. All I would need is my husband and my baby. Okay and maybe the professor to make me an internet connection so I could chat with all of you. HEHE.

As for the poop factor. Yes embarrasment. I would always wait to use the bathroom when it wasn't recess and would often hold it througout the day if at all possible. In public, I too have waited in a stall to make a clean get away, I still do that. Its funny though because if anyone knew my husband and the stank that can come from him, they would think he had CF.
