Step son came back from pool today (been hanging out there for a few weeks w/o sunscreen) and his face looks swollen to me, especially around his nose. He is on TOBI and I was just wondering if this could be a reaction or if anyone has ever had swelling on TOBI or any other inhaled med around their nose. I've noticed this swelling before but I can't recall the circumstances but I don't think it was from the sun.
It's hard to get him (16 y old) to pay attention to stuff like reactions or how certain meds make him feel. I've tried to get him involved with this site so many times but he just ditches it and logs on to facebook or something. I really wish he would get more involved and pay more attention but he has always had a lot of denial and without a lot of pushing and arguing he would ditch all his meds.
I know this is common, I guess sometimes I just want to say it to people that might understand.
