I am wondering what those of you who use supplements (vitamins, l-argenine, taurine, extra C, GSH, DHA, probiotics, ect.) and drinks and snacks spend monthly on these products?

I am asking because I am trying to figure out if there is a way for us all to get these things at a lower cost. I am willing to do the leg work if you feel you'd benefit from something like this.

Warmly,

Sorry I'm not much help... DS isn't on much for nutritional supplements yet...

For DS I pay $6 and change for a month supply of vitamin K -- he takes a tablet once a week. I put a drop of A & E in his morning breakfast drink. Nominal cost. He still takes adeks, which costs about $10-14 a month depending upon where I obtain it.

We use carnation instant breakfast powder. I mix up about a quart with whole milk and an ounce of cream for each cup of milk. I used to get the powdered carnation instant breakfast at Sam's Club -- a carton of 24 packets for $6.50; however, they only carry chocolate and DS decided he dislikes chocolate. So I go to the grocery store ($4.50) for a 12 pack of vanilla or $3.90 at walmart. Once in a blue moon I get a dollar off coupon. When we travel I usually get a couple cartons of premix, which is about $4.50 for a 4 pack. Yikes...
