I was transplanted 9 months ago. Just last week I started having swelling in my face. The doctor's do not think it is a reaction to the immuno drugs or the recent VFEND that I am taking. They ordered a CAT scan tomorrow of my face and neck to see if there is a possible blood clot in my port. Anyone have this problem months after your transplant? Does it go away? My eyes are swollen too but I don't seem to have seasonal allergies. Thanks in advance!

have they uped your prednisone lately? Ive never really herd of swelling of the face out of no where. BTW did you get aspergillous for the recent start of VFEND?

about 50% of the people i know who dont take an antifungal have developed aspergillous..I wasnt put on one after my transplant and developed aspergillous about 8 months post. I dont know any useful info on your face swelling.. sorry
