Swollen glands under jaw

I have had swollen glands under my Jaw for years. My neck droops down because they are so big. Is this CF related? I have been working out for years and am in great shape and there is no pain.

wow, you've really had this for years? i once had swollen glands and my doctor threatend to biopsy if they didn't go away in some amount of time. (they did.) i've never heard of this being CF related but it will be interesting to see everyone else's experience.

My non c/f daughter had a huge swollen gland under her jaw and the docs didnt know what caused it. it eventually went down by itself.

I would definitely get it checked out by a doc/specialist if I were you.

When I am having a flare up or running fevers I sometimes get swelling of the glands in my neck. The lymph nodes around my ears sometimes gte hard and the fleshy part of my throat/neck (on the sides right under my jaw line) will be tender and inflammed or swollen feeling to the touch.

I do NOT have this all the time though. Is it uncomfortable? If it is I would definitely ask your doc if there is something you can do about it. There is no need for you to be uncomfortable.

So yeah I guess what I was trying to say is I get this on occasion but for me it is a sign of a serious infection.
