I itemize everything....even the twinkie I ate for lunch one day<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">. Vitamins, supplements, air conditioners, air purifiers, mileage driving to & from appointments. <b>Every last thing related to my CF.</b> And it's legal but every state might have certain rules and everyone's situation is a little different so be careful and do plenty of research ahead of time.

How to you take off for gas going to the Dr. ? Do I need to write down the milage before and after going? I know I need to get a reciept for the gas.

You can deduct a portion of your food for a CF patient per National Legislation. <img src="i/expressions/present.gif" border="0">

The IRS determines which deductions are and are not allowed so it doesn't matter what state you live in when it comes to tax deductions, even for state taxes.
