Teaching your child about CF

<P><FONT color=#000000>I have added a new section to my website (</FONT><A href="http://www.TiosForCFParents.com"><FONT color=#000000>www.TipsForCFParents.com</FONT></A><FONT color=#000000>) with articles, video clips, and other resources about how to teach children about CF starting at age 2. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT color=#000000>This is one of the hardest things for us to figure out as parents- what, when and how do I teach my child about both the "nuts and bolts" of CF care as well as the other harder issues like life-expectancy, etc. </FONT></P>
<P><FONT size=3><FONT face=Verdana><FONT color=#000000><STRONG><SPAN style="COLOR: black; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold; mso-bidi-font-family: Arial">Our kids can sure come up with some interesting questions! Our answers will shape how they see themselves, their world and their medical condition. It can also make a big difference on whether or not they take responsibility for their self-care. Education about CF is critical and it should start at about age 2.</SPAN></STRONG></FONT></FONT></FONT></P>
