My son is almost 6 months old and a week ago today he has had a runny nose ( clear ) not really wanting to eat ( but eating some ) a little bit of a cough and real fussy. I called our CF clinic to let them know about all of this and they really didn't seem all that worried. He has been drooling lie mad and biting on anything he can get his hands on. So the signs are there for teething but there also signs of being sick. HELP

It sounds like teething to me. Teething will get the snot running, the drool going & often can lead to ear infections.

The biting is a big indicator.

DS didn't get teeth until he was 8 months old, but I swear he drooled and fussed for 3-4 months before that. Another indication is loose stool. Different from the needs more enzyme ones.

You may never really know if it is teething or not....
Those darn teeth take forever to come in!!!!! Some of Caleb's top teeth have been threatening to come in for about a month. You see them so close to the surface and then the next day they are gone. My sign for both of the boys were that their poops would be messed up for about 3 days and then they would go back to normal.
Hope this helps..
Blessings,
Missa
