If you have an ongoing pain this might help you. My chiropractor charged my insurance with this unit. I used it last night and I awoke with no pain in my elbow. I will use it again when needed. It is pretty cool.

I used a TENS unit years ago when I had problems with muscle spasms and pain in my lower back...you are so right, it works wonders. Kind wierd to get used to at first with the electrical impulses, but once it is at the right setting it does a good job. Thank you for sharing your info on the TENS, I think it would help alot of people who have chronic pain. Hugs, Jenn

I am glad that I posted this link. I believe it is the same unit that I have. I got mine for free because it was billed to my insurance. I could not believe with a battery unit it worked just as good as the chiropractors version that is in his office.
Thinking of you Jenn.

Oh I'm so excited you listed this! I saw a chiropracter several months ago for my back pain and he mentioned a device something like this but said it cost $250. If this little guy works, then I think I might get it. This is awesome! When my chiropracter used one of these on my back it helped sooo much.

Hi Kelly

This little unit is a lot less money and in my opionion works just as well as the chiro's office unit that is not portable. This unit you can hold in your hand and walk around. It attaches to your belt loop. See if your chiro can get you one and bill it to your insurance. A good chiro will say yes and a chiro who wants more of your money will say no because he would want you to come in for adjustments and the treatment which is a whole lot of more money. I have been to some really crooked chiro's pardon the pun lol

This is an old post - but I FINALLY got one of these for Xmas.

For those of you who have used these, what settings do you use or do I definitly need to see a chiropracter first and get their recommendation? I know these things work for my back pain, I just don't know what the settings should be.

Anyone, Risa or Cepaciagal?

I have a TENS unit that was also purchased by my insurance company - however it was $600 !! Also very small and portable.

About the settings - I don't know how different this one is from what I have, but my physical therapist who recommended my getting the unit said I could put it on any setting that felt good to me. She also commented it not about how high of a setting I could "take" it was about what felt good, so I'd say stick it on and just turn it to wherever feels good.
