just writing a big thankyou to everyone who has helped answer the many questions i have about CF. As i am relatively new to this disease it`s nice to have people who understand. I love how when u write a question you get back an answer that is clear and concise not like some of these doctors i talk too. Just to let you all know that you have all made me feel more confident in what i am doing and given me the courage to ask more questions.

I am glad that you are happy with the feedback. Sometimes its really good to get different perspectives & ideas espcially from around the world since medical practices do vary with CF. I love my doctor dearly, but she doesnt have CF & she knows that she can only offer so much info & be in the ballpark. She supports my coming here yet reminds me that it is the World Wide Web & not to take everything literally or to heart. Just keep it in mind like many people do with the doctors!

You are very welcome. I felt the same way last year when we first found out with our little Benjamin. It is a wonderful resource and sounding board to use. For me it kind of balances out the information that is sometimes thrown our way via the doctors. Ultimately it is me caring for my son and I must feel good about what we choose to do nutritionally, preventatively and the attitude I carry about CF. THis board is filled with incredible kids, teens and adults living with CF and it inspires me to know Benjamin's future is as wide open as my daughter w/out CF! Finding hope is a wonderful thing, but sharing it is even better. I thank all of you as well for sharing your knowledge and hope to those of us who are just entering the CF world.

Stay strong and confident, the doctors will treat you more as an equal partner in his care. Go with your gut and heart.
