The coughing is killing me

M just came off 2 courses of antibiotics last week for a cough we could NOT get under control. We'd get it knocked down and he'd get another cold and start it all over again (would get over the cold but the cough would increase).

We all got the same cold 4-6 weeks ago and I have several with linquering coughs. Two in the house need to see a doctor, I think. (And, Tom is the worst as I can hear crackles in his lungs with my stethoscope.)

But, everytime someone goes into a coughing fit, I jump and locate M. In the car yesterday, the kid behind M in the car was trying to hack up a lung. And, I swear I kept thinking M was coughing like that.

Thankfully, M hasn't shown a trace of a cough since the last week of his Levaquin and I think our new measures to prevent the spread of flu and cold bugs is working well for us. But, before M came home, I never even thought twice about a linqering cough in this house.

my daughter started a big cold last week, three days later i was with the same cold, yesterday my husband return home with crying eyes and snifing all the time...
my daughter still have her cold ( an a urine infection as well) i am still sick (but feeling better) and hubby in the edge.
What measure do you use to stop the spread??? we use our alcohol gel all the time, y open windows, put Lysol in the air, but the virus si still here...
