Well yesterday was my hemotologist appt and the infertility clinic. My hemotologist said that she can deal with my factor V liden problem by taking lovenox daily.

The infertlity doctor said all my bloodwork looked normal and nicks sample looked normal. He said that he sees no need for any meds and that normal IUI should work. He said of course the chances are

1st try - 20 %
2nd try - 36%
and so on and so on each try up to 80%

he then looked and me and said well you should be ovulating around the 17th so start the ovulation test on the 15th and as soon as you get a positive then call us and you will come in the next day for your IUI

So in a matter of 4 hours we went from up in the air on if we could even get pregnant to having a date set for us.

I wanted to see if anyone else just had well the cf in the way of pregnancy and did IUI. They basicly told me that its my mucus that is causing me not to get pregnant. Anyone else like this and try and IUI?

Can't answer your question about the IUI, but I HIGHLY recommend at least 1 accupuncture session (most important would be on the day of insemination) and the pineapple regimine in the days following the IUI.

Best of luck, I know this has been a long road for you two and I wish the best for you and a little one later this year!!!!!!

Congrats on getting the go-ahead!! Did you/are you going to have an HSG? My husband and I are in the exact same boat. We had our first IUI 10 days ago - don't know if it worked yet, but we should any day now. Good luck and keep us posted!
