Last evening, DH and I were visiting in the kitchen. I was getting neb cups and evening meds ready and we heard DS' vest start up. He put on his vest and turned it on all by himself, without being asked. Sniff, sniff! He's growing up!

AWESOME!!! WTG Max!! Alyssa will do that, but not without prompting, she's still of the belief that if she keeps quiet I'll forget.

What a great mom you are Liza! I would like to know your secret parenting style lol I would have never done that myself. I'm in the same boat as Heather's daughter! I used to believe if I didn't say anything and go about my own business then my parents would just forget. Never worked<img title="Tongue out" src="include/wysiwyg/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif" alt="Tongue out" border="0" />My parents used the bribing method a lot with me. I'm a little (okay, probably a lot) on the extra spoiled side, thanks to that way of solving things...
Added: well, I guess you gotta do whatever works for your kid and/or situation

I was just as surprised as we usually have to remind him when he gets home, as he gets busy snacking or playing or watching tv. We've always let him do whatever he wants during vest time -- dvds, tv, video games. Was just so shocked he did it on his own without prompting! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
