It's not too often I see a movie either on the net or on dvd (I have the DVD as well) that I feel is just amazing, is very informative, and offers a different angle on the reality we all feel is as concrete as the floor we are standing on. I believe in exposing myself to everything, trying not to be a lemming, and coming away with my own created view. Give this movie a chance, it's really worth it. Even if you don't agree with any, or even some of it. Being open to non mainstream perspectives is healthy.

It really doesn't contain anything that we haven't heard a hundred times before. So the rest of you don't have to waste your time, there's the theory that Christ was the invented product of other religious beliefs, the 9/11 conspiracy theory, and the federal reserve conspiracy theory. Sorry, but all this information is simply factually inaccurate, which is why it doesn't get any attention.

If you really believe in coming away with your own created view, then try doing your own research, rather than relying on someone else's.

I guess I need some of that silly Jesus lovin too. The old patches over my eyes are wearing this, and i'm starting to see daylight. And yes, I can inundate you with whatever data you prefer. I never said I 100% believe anything in this, I said hearing other views/perspectives keeps a mind healthy. Disagree with whatever, but saying any topic of controversy is "factually innacurate", just opens up an avenue for us to spam each other with dissenting views. As I said before, for every point you counter, I can counter point that counter point. The sad thing is, you feel experiencing a perspective, or belief other than your own is "wasting your time". Disseminate information with your own personal bias sieve all day long, but please never say exposing yourself to any information, regardless how "out there" it may be, is "wasting your time". Unless of course that time is spent reading a very old tome that tells you if you DO X, all will be ok. Don't turn the pages too quick, those puppet strings might become entangled...

There, you gave your opinion, as did I. Now we are even <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I'm not talking about opinion, I am talking about fact. A fact is a statement that can be proven or disproven.

For example, the facts presented in the documentary about Horus were published in a book called The Christ Conspiracy by Achrya S. The claims made by the book simply cannot be found anywhere in any Egyptian literature whatsoever.

Do you understand now? You can have whatever opinion you want, but facts are either accurate or inaccurate. If a fact is wrong, there is no counterpoint; the fact is simply wrong.
