I'm living in NJ and the winter season here is terrible! Anyone else constantly feeling bad? I just got off iv's about 2 weeks ago and I already feel like another harsh cold is coming on. I'm doing everything to stay healthy but it seems like this weather has really set me back. I'm considering moving way south if this becomes a yearly thing.

The cold weather has been really brutal for my sinuses this year. I can't go out with out getting an awful sinus headache. Everytime cold air hits my face or chest it seems like everything starts to throb. I live in southern PA close to the MD state line, so while we've gotten hit--we haven't gotten as much as up north. The only thing that really helps me is just avoiding the outside...

It looks like it is a global thing. I am in Europe , and my dd had what seemed like permanent colds for the whole month of November. And then flu in January.

I'm not even the one with cf in the family & I've been sick since November (3rd cough in a row). Luckily Max as avoided all but this last one.

I believe the reason I dont get sick too often and remain healthy is from living in california. When I go back to the east coast during winter or go snowboarding I always get sick. My body cant take the cold. As long as I get plenty of sleep and rest I do well during the winter season. Maybe a move to the south would help you, but the weather is so humid during the summer depending which place you go.

I love winter, and the clear air combined with the cool temperatures always makes me thrive. I remember my older sister one time complained about pain breathing when it went sub-zero for a couple of weeks many years ago, but that can also hold true with your average individual as well.

Often times, I find that indoor allergies are the biggest issue in the winter, as can be the dryness brought about by indoor heating. Other than that, wild fluctuations in temperature can cause people to become sick.
