Hi! Are you from Poland? Just curious. It's been a long time since I looked at a european pft. I had to learn how to read them when we moved to Germany. Then relearn how to read the US ones. You might have better luck posting this on the adult section. Marjolein is from NL. I think some clinics here in the US may have reports that read like this. Is your FeV1 25.4% or is it 4.03? I just can't remember how they translate.
As for how long you have, everyone is different. The person to ask is your CF doctor. I know you mention you don't want a transplant and that is a personal decision. Have your doctors mentioned that you should start thinking about one? Is your FeV1 4.03 or 25.4%. End stage CF can go on for quite a while or be very short. It depends on alot of different things, how often you are getting sick, how quickly or how well your FeV1 recovers after/while on IV antibiotics, your activity level, if you require oxygen, lots of things.
Are you giving up or are you just curious how things might play out? I stress though, your CF doctors are the best ones to tell you how things are going.
I don't usually post here in the teen section because I think it is just for them but you are 19 and I thought maybe you would be better asking this in the adult section.
