TMI poop question

My daughter is 3 and her poop is generally very normal if we are getting her creon just right. Today she had bright green poop...I mean so green and whatever is making it that color is even leaching into the toilet bowl water and making it greenish. Anyone have any idea what is causing this?? I can't think of anything different that she has eaten. I did back down her Creon slightly a few days ago because she kept getting constipated. She had loose yellow poop 2 days ago (like pre-creon poop) and then nothing yesterday and then the bright green today. TIA and sorry for all the details <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

My two kids with Cf always have bright green poop after eating something that is blue in color (for example: fruit snacks or blue gatorade). Hope that helps.

I've had blue poop from eating blue cotton candy. It freaked me out until I remembered what I had eaten. Just another thing to think of. I hope you figure it out.

Until this past summer, DS' stools were never ever normal brown looking poo. Were always yellowish, sometimes tinged with dark green flecks and greenish even when not eating blue foods. When DS did get constipated as a baby, we didn't decrease enzymes because most of the time his stools were looser, fluffier, but we would give him milk of magnesia to get him cleaned up.

What we learned this summer was DS was NOT getting enough enzymes. In his case it was because he had scarring from a previous surgery that slowed down his intestinal tract to the point that his enzymes weren't making it to the small intestines in time. So he developed a blockage.

IMO, talk to your doctor about constipation issues to see if she might need miralax or some sort of laxative to keep things moving. CF and digestion can be tricky in terms of stooling, number of enzymes.
