Tobi AND Tobra

Yes I always do. Studies have shown that there is a small amount of TOBI that is absorbed and present in the blood. They can do peaks and troughs after doing TOBI just like they can Tobra. I had them do mine when I was TTC to determine whether or not I felt safe staying on the TOBI. It was almost not detectable so really if you are looking at it from a cumulative standpoint it makes little difference. If you are looking at it like a total kicking the bugs but standpoint I think it makes great sense though I must admit I find it so hard to do both timewise when on IV's.

I get up at 5am for work so I normally set my watch to wake me up at 4am (so my next dose will also be due on my lunch hour for work), hook up to the tobi elastomeric pump and go back to sleep, when I wake up at 5 I can then flush and hook up my ceftaz while I am getting all my stuff around and such I push the ceftaz in then start my treatments. Its not that I cant do them at the same time, you definately can its just not what works best for me.
