Hi,

I would like to add to Khristina's question - did any of you take IV antibiotics (of any description) during pregnancy? I have a slight chest infection at the moment and my CF doc is suggesting possible IV therapy. As I am in the first trimester I am very reluctant but appreciate that it's important to keep my lungs healthy.

Would be v reassured to hear of others who had IVs during pregnancy!

Thanks,

Elizab

I was in the hospital for a 2 week clean out before having Jazz. Quite honestly I dont remember what meds they used, but I do know for me that there were tons of oral & enough IV meds that helped which were also safe during pregnancy. I believe it becomes problematic when you are resistant or allergic to meds because it reduces the options.
