One of the worst consequences of transplants is the antirejection drugs and their side effects. Bone marrow transplants essentially give you the immune system of the donor, which should prevent rejection. Doctors are only now realizing this, which should have been common sense. Don't ask me, though, ask your doctor to check into it and follow their advice.
