transporting your nebs/meds

Hi all! How do you carry your nebulizers and medicines around? I travel overnight a lot so transporting all my stuff and trying to keep it clean and safe is a big thing! How do you manage it? I usually just let it jumble around in a plastic bag but I'm sure there's a better way. I'm talking breathing treatment stuff..inhalers, nebs, the meds themselves. I'd love to buy some kind of holder or something that's specialized for holding multiple nebulizers and liquid meds but I don't know where I'd find one, price, etc.

Usually have a backpack just for meds and equipment. Depends on whether we fly or not -- then I usually use a couple quart bags for drugs and a small lunch bag cooler for fridge meds, couple nebs and the pari vios. I buy disposable nebs by the bulk and transport the majority of them in my luggage and keep handful in the carry on just in case.

If it's a weekend trip --- we go to the lake every weekend, I have a larger tote bag which I place a nebulizer, power strip and I have a metal lunch box for meds, vitamins, albuterol/atrovent, Flonase and odds and ends. Small soft sided cooler for fridge drugs and I'll put reusable neb cups and mask/mouthpieces in a quart bag inside the cooler. If I'm not going somewhere where I can boil nebs, I put a bunch of disposable nebs in a plastic grocery bag and put it on top of everything in the tote bag.

We haven't needed disposables for some time. Do you mind sharing the ones you get and where?
Thanks![

I've purchased from a number of places in the past -- allegro, justnebulizers.... Whoever has the best price and free shipping More recently I ordered from a case from Vitality medical -- maybe a buck per neb. I get the sidestream ones which are good for pulmozyme, albuterol & atrovent. They come with tubing and a mouth piece, but I've gotten a mask that fits on top or have used the clear tube that comes with the bubbles fish mask. I set aside the tubing since I don't change out the tubing every day and keep it weekends at the lake where it tends to be more humid and I toss after a couple days.

If he's on Tobi, I just bring along a pari reusable as the pari disposable nebs are expensive --- $7 bucks a pop last time looked, plus the pretty much don't have a cap so a good portion of the med goes out the top.
