Trick or Treating

I was wondering if any of the mom's/dad's are concerned about your kids going trick or treating this year because of h1n1 flu? I am thinking about going this year (I know, I'm a little old <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif" border="0"> I'm making up the time from when I couldn't <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">) but then I thought of all the people walking around outside maybe bumping into each other or germs on the packages of candy that people are passing out. Any thoughts on this?

Hadn't considered NOT going. Imagine we will unless there's a MAJOR increase in cases in our community. Already have DS' Bobba Fett Costume <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I hadnt thought about it, but like Liza said unless we get a huge outbreak in our community we will be going.

We might take extra precaution & pay more attention to those coughing, sneezing etc then usual.

As to germs on the candy? I guess maybe leave it sit for a bit OR wear gloves when opening everything....

oh wow -- I hadn't even thoguht about this. Last year, Alyssa didn't get to go trick-or-treating because she was in the hospital. And she was too little to remember any other halloweens. I'm going to do everything I can to allow her to go this year. You are only little once.
