Update on Ashton

Hello everyone, just wanted to give you guys an update. Ashton is recovering from his second surgery to correct the first stoma which never worked correctly.. I went and saw him today and this stoma looks like it is supposed to and he has had a bowel movement through it!!!! Which hopefully if he keeps having them they will give him some breast milk either tomorrow or tuesday!! they have turned his gastric tube to gravity also instead of suction!! It looks like now we are on the right track and going to let him recover until his next surgery to reconnect his bowels! Today Ashton is 2 weeks old!! I will post some pictures when i can get them down to a smaller size.

Hooray! That's great news! I think your little guy will be just fine! The ones who have a rough start always turn out to be the sweetest.

That is great news Christi!! Thanks for keeping us posted. I truly think about people and families on this board a lot! It is so wonderful to hear good news!

I think that this disease is very saddened. Me as a mom I would like to have a protest on thi. This would be a very good disease to write a report on. This is really sadMiracle
