B]Just talked to Victoria, and her Chris is there!!!! Garren is still sedated, but he opened his eyes and the first thing he saw was HIS DADDY! How wonderful, and I am sure thanking God that He got Chris there...Garren's numbers are now down around 24, so he keeps improving.
I want to thank all those that sent their prayers as a "blanket" over our little Garren, and as a "shawl" around Victoria's shoulders. I prayed all that night, and imagined prayers drifting heavenward, like in "It's a Wonderful Life".
Don't we have a wonderful community here--EVERYONE pulls together! I'm so proud and overwhelmed to be a member...

Victoria just called and Garren is responding to questions, and is helping hislungs move on their own! He comprehends what is being said to him, and is more awake now! He responds to Daddy's voice....Isn't that wonderful news!!!!

Just talked to Victoria and I got to talk to Chris!! Wowie! He has a nice voice... Anyway, Garren is still stable, has both the IV's gone from the groin, but still has one in each arm, the port, and his jugular. His O2 is at 35% (it was at 60), and his PIP(think that's the right word) numbers are in the lower 20's still, they want to get them down to "4" so they can take vent off. His lungs will move a little on their own, but not a lot yet. He is still sedated, but responds well, and "mouth's" that he wants something to drink. Poor thing. He continues to get better, though--THANK YOU, GOD!
HALLMARK MOMENT[/B]...The other kids didn't know their daddy was home, so Victoria's sister brought them to hospital and surprised them with seeing their daddy...Victoria said she hasn't seen them quiet for months--they were that shocked. I'm sure there wasn't a dry eye around...
