update on genetic test

We found out this week that my son does NOT have CF <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> which is great news. I just wish we knew what is going on with him.

The test for PCD also came back negative.
I am glad I found this sight it was very helpful.

I Hope Your Child does Not have Cf. I would not wish it on anyone.

But as I understand it, there are Over 1000 different genes that can
cause Cf.

Patrick was tested for all 1500 mutations, not sure if it was the Ambry test.

He is still getting albuteral treatments and Pulmacort twice a day w/the vest. The Dr did want him on pulmozyme but the insurace will not ok it because he has not been diagnosed w/CF.

What are the chances he will get better since the scope and sines surgery that was done this summer?
