Joni brought it to my attention that we hadn't heard from Marie, Marjolein's tx friend lately. Last we heard she was having trouble with her eyes... Thank you Joni!

Here is what Marjolein wrote me:
Marie is doing well, allthough she still has a long way to go. She could stop the iv antifungal meds in February. Her heart and lungs are ok. Her eyes are still not good, although they are a little better and she can be on msn again when she sets it in the biggest letters. She still has a assitent who comes to her and with whom she can go into the city and things like that. She still uses her wheelchair a lot cause she is still very weak, this whole 'ordeal' took so much from her! She said that this took more from her mentally and physically than her tx did. It's really rough for her.
Say hi to Joni from me! And tell her I'm sure Marie will thank her very much for her concern.
Thought you all would like an update--thanks to Joni!!!
