Update on Mel (Jazzysmom)

Mel called and she is settled into the hospital. Didn't bring her laptop and is in a room where she could use it!!! She wishes she had now--darnit! She doesn't know how long she can stay in the room as it is a double, but the census is low, so maybe she can stay there and get a laptop from the hospital.

She had her PICC placed (after 3 tries) today, and her doctor wants to start TPN tomorrow. She is on IV's and Tobi.

I will have her room number tomorrow, I forgot to get it!!! *Slaps self in head!

(Oh, and about the vocal appt.--they couldn't find a reason for her problems, so they are going to try the temporary fix they had discussed, rather than surgery at this time, after she is out of hospital.)

Just wanted you to know Mel is settled in and missing you all.
