Update on Zoey.........

Well yesterday i went to see her for a while. They took her down to
radiology to have a special kind of enema done where they can tell
if her lower bowel is stopped up. It was so the surgeon wants them
to repeat the enema until it goes all the way through. Then he will
reconnect her............so anyday now she could be having them
partially put back together.    HOORAY
   she might get to come home sooner than we
thought.........also I have started a anti depressant drug called
Zoloft. Anyone taken it before?  Ill try to keep everyone
updated on Zoey but sometimes thats harder than it seems.lol

So glad to hear that Zoey is doing better and may be coming home sooner! That is always such a blessing. She is beyond precious.

Sarah, Thanks for the update. I've been visiting her site and enjoy seeing her picture. What a breath of fresh air her image is to me. Life is going to be great for her. She's really been brought to earth at a perfect time in terms of CF care.

I hope the Zoloft helps you with whatever you've been dealing with and I'm proud of you for standing up for yourself and getting what you need. Make sure you're eating well and exercising. I've recently found yoga to be great exercise and mind cleansing.

Hopefully they'll be able to do her surgery soon and you can get her home, get you home and get on with your lives. She's sooo expressive! What a little cutie.

I was on an lexapro for about a month after we got DS home from the hospital when he was 6 weeks old. Suddenly being home, dealing with a new baby, dealing with CF got to be too much. I could barely function and pretty much cried constantly. Darn hormones. Good that you're getting some help. L
