I've updated our website again, I know there were some inquiries for more belly pictures <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
<a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.cysticfibrosismaleinfertility.com/Mark_and_Julies_BellyPictures.html
">http://www.cysticfibrosismalei...es_BellyPictures.html
</a>
Also, I added a new page of some funny pictures, all relating to the IVF/baby stuff. Here's the link directly to that page <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.cysticfibrosismaleinfertility.com/Mark_and_Julies_FunnyPictures.html">http://www.cysticfibrosismalei...ies_FunnyPictures.html</a> I'm kind of bias but I think they are adorable and hillarious!

Thanks to all for all of your support and thougths and prayers. We appreciate it SO much! I should have more ultrasound pictures by NEXT friday.

Being an RN I know that your size is a great thing!! The babies are growing...and with multiples the bigger the better! Since you started off so tiny I am sure it is getting hard for you to move around...Just wait! Eat well and rest well...

Good Luck

LOL, you guys all have me laughing so hard with your comments. Thanks!!! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Auntie, I'm on modified bedrest. But it's not because I need it, but the doctor wants to prevent fatigue, pre-term labor... so her orders are to take it easy, no lifting, no household chores aside from dishes and folding laundry, and to sit with my feet up every 2 hours. So, it does limit my activities but I generally try to plan things so I can put my feet up (at a meal or something). I've been on that since the beginning though because of the bleeding at first. I guess studies show that unless there is cervical shortening, there is no benefit to strict bedrest.
Would you believe my cervix grew .5cm in the last 3 weeks???? It did, no bedrest for me (yet).

I way overworked myself this weekend though. My aunt was here and we hung another shelf in the closet for more baby clothes, we put up the baby curtains in the bedroom, we painted what use to be our dining room but is now the "downstairs baby central", and we sorted and washed about 6 loads of baby clothes. I've recieved lots of hand me downs, so we sorted them into sizes to see what I had. It was a lot of work for a preggo, plus we are having record breaking highs in WA, so it was quite the weekend!

Thanks for the prayers Mandy!

Jennifer, I feel so big. I didn't realize how big I was (especially in porportion to my arms and legs) until Mark too those pictures.

Diet, you are right about the moving around thing. I use to think, "what's the deal with pregnant women, why do they need help getting up, why can't they just bend over, why can't they do this and that..." NOW I finally get it ! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> Thanks for the good luck

It is nice to have baby stuff finally set up Lynda. We have a few new outfits that we've either recieved or bought, and I was finally ready to cut the tags off and wash them. I kept putting it off, "just in case" but I finally decided I was ready.

LOL, Liz. Thanks, I feel like a house. I had someting stuck to my upper, upper, upper thigh the other day and was trying to grab it. I was peering over my big huge stomach trying to see where it was. Imagine my frustration when I couldn't see. hahah. on another funny note, I asked Mark to help me shave the other day. I can do my lower legs OK, but anything further up than that, forget it. He looked at me like I had 3 heads. I wish I could have captured that expression. I now understand how people kind of lose their dignity during pregnancy!

Thanks amy! Um, I don't think I stand up straight <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">. I acutally have this belly holser thing, It goes under my stomach and over my shoulders for stomach and back support. It does help keep me in alighnment and provides good support, but it's not very comfortable. I wanted a baby though!!!

Wow that is amazing. I can tell you have a nice figure even though you are pregnant. I am sure once those babies pop on out you will be back to your thin self. Thank you for sharing your life with us

Julie, Your comments have me laughing, actually at work if I get a free moment I always pull up this website and I have always shown your website to a few of the nurses I work with.

Today, when I was on the phone with them, one of them was asking about you and the babies.. I thought that was so cute....

Keep posting.. I love reading it..

Thanks for the updated pictures julie! Poor thing, you look like you are about to pop! do u use shea coco butter? i've known a lot of women to use it during prenancy to help prevent/reduce stretch marks. just thought i would through that out there, just as information.

The kitties were so cute! i take it that Zain is the baby of the house? he sure acts like it. but he is gonna have to get over it....there will be 3 new kids in town. I can see the babies when they start walking and giving those cats (and dog) a run for it. My nieces come over and my cats hide. my brother has a cat and his 2 yr old likes to run behind her saying "kitty, kitty, kitty" while reaching/grabbing her tail. for some reason, the cat has but on a few pounds (she weighs about 18-20lbs now). i'm guessing the cat is stress eating....hehe.

That's very sweet of you, and of your coworker Jen. Tell them thank you!

Courtney, glad you got a laugh from the shaving part. I never imagined it would be such a difficult thing but low and behold!!!!!

Hey Danyell, I sure do use shea coco butter. I've got this natural product that has that, plus vitamin E and a few other things in it. I was doing GREAT until about a week+ ago, when I found my first stretch mark (and must admit, cried about it) Then a few days later I noticed more and more and more. So yep, I've got them now for sure! I think it has so much to do with how fast my stomach has grown. I was at the OB again today and am now measuring 34 weeks, but I am only 22 weeks along. If it was a singleton pregnancy I think I might have escaped them. Oh well, a baby is so worth it!

Zain is kind of the baby of the house-sort of. He's more like the trouble maker, get into everything I'm not suppose to, bite the dogs in the ears, can I fit into this tiny crevice, I'll treat myself to some dog food... . No fear whatsoever, even from the dogs. And he's deaf too, although not mute (Mark will attest to this regarding his 2am meows like a cat in heat) so he gets pounced on all day long. But he's very sweet and good natured.

I think he'll do just fine with the babies, my biggest concern is him getting into their cribs and "loving" them a little too much (not realizing how small they are, how small their mouths are, how important breathing is!!!). So, we are looking to get two of those crib tent things to just keep him out. I think our rottie/german spitz mix will be the most affected by these babies. He is our first dog and a big huge baby (thinks he's a person) and gets very jealous of babies and other animals. Our other cat is really to herself so I think she'll do fine and our purebread rottie loves babies and children, and is oh so gentle and cautious around them. So I worry about our mix and our first baby, bodhi.

Glad I could give some laughs!

Julie,

What great pics!!!! It is amazing to see how much your belly has grown! Do the docs think you will have the babies early? I can't imagine your poor belly can stretch to much more! I know twins and triplets are normally born early, but how long do the docs want to try and keep those little guys (and girl) in there??

Thanks for the update!

Seana, My doctor has already told me "IF you are still pregnant at 35 weeks, we will deliver you sometime that week". She's not sure how far I'll make it (we are hoping at LEAST 32-33 weeks) because my cervix looks so good and I'm having so little contrations, but I'm so small.... so I might have to have an unscheduled C section before that, but we jsut have to see as we go.
Glad to see you posting, I miss chatting with you and seeing your posts!!

Tracy, thanks for those book tips. I had acutally posted a question about that on one of my preggo sites but nobody really knew. I'm going to go to amazon.com and look to see if I can find them. I want to be as prepared as I can regarding the animals because it's going to be stressful brining the babies home period, and I want the dogs prepared. Thanks so much for that info!!!!!!

Janet, you hit the nail on the head. At first the movement was so cute and sweet and nice but now sometimes it's painful. The best I can describe it is momentairly twisting a muscle, it's uncomfortable, a twinge that is so uncomfortable and somewhat painful in the moment, but when it's done (5-10 seconds) then it doesn't hurt anymore. Sometimes it makes me laugh and other times it scares the crap out of me (I swerved while driving the other day).

Hi Eli, tell your friend congrats on her baby!! I'll take it easy, I promise! I just can't imagine how much bigger I can possibly get <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Thanks everyone!!
