Updated our website

I didn't realize it had been so long since my last belly shot, so as requested, I updated the website today. www.cysticfibrosismaleinfertility.com I also updated the Funny pictures page. It's more pictures of my cat (sorry for you non cat lovers, no hard feelings), he's such a crazy cat. He gets in and tries out everything we've brough home for the babies. Someone recommended aluminum foil to keep him out of/off the things for the babies, but he's deaf so it won't help. I did try it though, thinking maybe the texture would scare him, but he snuggled right up to it. He's so entertaining, I love him.

I also updated the pregnancy journal, the newest entries are near the bottom. I try to keep it short and sweet so people will actually read it. I hadn't updated since May so all the June and July entries are new.

Also, could you guys who view it help me out and give me some feedback??? I changed the "navigation bar" on the home page. I was thinking about putting that navigation bar on every single page, but Mark told me he thinks it might be too cluttered. What do you guys think? I want to make navigating the site as easy as possible so people can find the information they are looking for. Honest feedback, I can take it <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I tried to do the "drop down" menu, where you would place your mouse over "success stories" and then sub-categories would appear but currently that isn't an option with the program I'm using and I don't know HTML code so this will have to do until it becomes available with the program (they say a year or two).

Only 10 more weeks to go. YIKES, we still have so much to do and so many things to get. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, I better hurry up. I slow down everyday. I can't hardly go to the grocery store anymore, it sucks. Oh well, I am sure enjoying being pregnant and am so lucky to have had suck a smooth pregnancy. I count my blessings everyday!!

Thanks to all of you for your support, encouragement, prayers and well wishes. I, as well as Mark really really appreciate it!!

Julie,
Thanks so much for the tummy & cat pictures. I wonder what that cat's going to do when he has to 'share' the swing, crib, etc in a couple of months! I'm glad everything has gone so well for you<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I must be missing something because I don't see any new pictures ... are they on the "belly pictures" and "funny pictures" pages I'm assuming? The last picture I see is from June, then there's just a big empty page below.

Julie:

Thank you for taking the time to put all that new info on your site and to put in a new belly picture. Your belly looks amazing!! I could not see any stretch marks at all. That may be giving me false hope, if so don't tell me. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> Thankyou for sharing that scary time with everyone that is going to read your site. You guys are real champs!! Getting the babys' room ready and the rest of the house has to just be an awesome thing. I can't wait to do that!! I really like the way your website is. I think the links on the bottom of the page to take you to differant sections and the table of contents are really useful. I really don't have any idea on what you could do differantly or better. You are way above my head with even having the website. My husband is the one that can do the html and all the computer scripting...but I have no clue on it. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif" border="0"> Julie thankyou for sharing your experiences again. You sound like you are doing great keeping yourself and those little miracles well nourished. They could have not picked a more knowledgeable Mommy to take care of them!!

Much Love and Continued Health

That is just incredible! I have never seen a belly with Triplets before. What an education Julie. You have done so much for so many ladies out there. I hope Mark is giving you back massages because you certainly deserve it.

I will leave with this note, moving right along <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"><img src="i/expressions/sun.gif" border="0">

Yes MAM Melissa!!!! Will do!! Luckly we've got all the hard work done, now we just need to get a car that will fit 3 carseats, GET the 3 carseats and a few other small things. Mostly shopping, which I can do in a wheelchair if I have to!!!!!! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Thanks Lynda, that darn cat. I love him but Mark hates him because he does things like that. He makes me laugh though, always entertaining.

Courtney, I was feeling a bit guilty because people were starting to ask about my belly pictures (when are you going to post new ones???) so I decided to update right away. I even kicked Mark off the computer to do it, I told him I promised I would update it yesterday so I had to do it.

Yep Amy, 10 weeks to go!!! I'm so darn excited!! It might be less than 10 weeks because 35 weeks is pretty far for a triplet mom to make it. The average is about 32 weeks give or take a week. But I've been so lucky thusfar to not have any cervical changes or any real problems that would prompt them to deliver me asap. I'll keep you guys posted of course though!!!

Jenica, you don't see the one that says July 18th on it, here's the direct link: <a target=_blank class=ftalternatingbarlinklarge href="http://www.cysticfibrosismaleinfertility.com/Mark_and_Julies_BellyPictures.html">http://www.cysticfibrosismalei...ies_BellyPictures.html</a> Let me know if you still can't see it, I just went there and it's there...... <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">

Thanks HairGirl, I appreciate it!!!

Johnna Marie, Photo shop and pictures can cause decietful images <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">, or things to disappear in this case, <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">. That's all I'll say. When are you guys going to start on the baby room? Mark and I have had so much fun. My mom and I painted upstairs (Mark had too much homework and I was ansy to get it done) but Mark helped paint the dining room (aka, baby central). It's so much fun.
So you like the website how it is? I use yahoo sitebuilder and it's amazing to use, it's like using a word program... you don't really have to know anything about the internet at all. Do you like the navigation bar that I have on the home page (it's on the left side and lists all the pages of the website)??? I have it only on that page because it's so long, but I was trying to decide if I should put it on every page for better navigation, or if I should just leave it. Still pondering it..... Thanks for your kind words!!!
Will you be sharing any belly pictures <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">????

Thanks Risa, Mark is so great. We tried the back massages but I have to sit up (what I wouldnt give for a bed with a "cut out" in it, I'm a TUMMY sleeper!!!!) so we moved on to foot massages. My feet are so sore, I think it's from all the extra weight. I was 112 at the beginning of the pregnancy in February and now I'm 148.5lbs. Luckly my knees don't hurt, just my heels and the balls of my feet. Oh well, gotta give a little I guess <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">.

Thanks Kelly, I appreciate it. Thinking of you too! How are you????

They make massage tables with a cut out in the middle so perhaps you can get a professional massage who have the cut out in the table.

All the weight you gained is what I gained too but it is all over me instead. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> so see how we are all different <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> lol

Feel well and enjoy every moment. I love the name of the babies room Baby central
very appropriate.

Massage Therapy: A Step By Step Guide

Massage In Pregnancy:

Many women suffer from aches and pains, stiffness and tension during pregnancy.Gentle massage can often help to relieve problems such as backache, sleeplessness, edema, headaches, and other minor complaints.

Before Birth:
Back pain is extremely common in pregnancy (as well as during the period of breastfeeding, or having to carry small children). It can be relieved by massage to the whole of the back area, the neck, legs, and feet, and by gentle stroking of the abdomen.Poor circulation also affects many pregnant women, and can be helped by a general body massage, which stimulates and improves the blood flow throughout the body.Leg massage, stroking from the ankles up toward the thighs, can help relax the body, relieve pain and reduce swelling in the legs(but avoid working directly over varicose veins). For women who develop problems sleeping, the soothing effects of massage can help relax and calm. Some pregnant women claim that lightly massaging the abdomen can even help to send the foetus to sleep. As well as relaxing and soothing away physical symptoms, massage can be a wonderful way of including your partner and children in the course of your pregnancy.

Pregnant women should check with their physician before having a massage. In cases where the physician recommends that the lower back and abdomen area should be avoided, massage the face, hands, arms, and feet to assist in relaxation.

When And How To Massage:

Although some schools recommend avoiding massage during the first three months of pregnancy, many women find gentle massage throughout their pregnancy to be very beneficial. When massaging a pregnant woman you must be very gentle, particularly on the abdomen and lower back.Avoid using deep pressure and percussive strokes.
Aromatherapy Oils- You may add a few drops of essential oil to the carrier oil.

Thanks Risa. I'll share this with Mark. Maybe we'll try to make a makeshift massage "hole" at home. I can't afford a professional one, but the oils he can get from his dad... I'll let you know if we are able to make it work. Thanks so much for sharing that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Lauren, good to hear from you!!! Glad I could make your day. Did my stomach give you a good laugh? I hope so <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Julie - those funny pics are soooo funny! Typical cat to fall asleep wherever it pleases. Too cute. I love the one of your cat in the crib! LOL. Julie you keep on getting bigger and bigger. I can only imagine just how big you'll be in a month or two. LOL.

Thanks Liz. I keep telling Mark (who keeps expressing his dislike for the cat, but the cat loves him the best!!!) that he keeps us laughing on bad days. He just does such strange things. Right now he's sleeping on the dresser that we are going to use as a changing table, all curled up ON the contoured changing table. He's so funny. We got him a cat bed years ago and he won't sleep there though.

The babies are growing up now, towards my lungs- YIKES. I'm not growing out really anymore, which helps with the pain of stretching skin but now I get the sensation someone is sitting on my chestp and playing with my rib cage. I suppose it's a fair tradeoff. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

Thinking about you Liz!!!

Thanks for the update julie! I know your C-Section is 10 weeks away, but I'm not too sure the human belly can go too much futher....girl you look like you are gonna POP!

The pictures of the cat are so cute! I can see why he makes u laugh. I have come to the conclusion that he is testing the stability and comfort level of the babies things....or at least that what you can tell Mark (maybe he will believe you, but more than likely he will roll his eyes).

Anyway, love the pictures. Keep us updated!

Holy belly!!! Can it hold out 10 more weeks?? Haha! My friend is having her baby in a couple weeks and I don't think she's as big. You need to let me know where you are having these little guys so I can come see all of you when they arrive!

It's a bit of a drive froggy but you are welcome to come!! We'll be at evergreen hospital in Kirkland.

LOL, I'll try that one with Mark Danyelle. He hasn't liked Zain since day one though. He LOVES our miss kitty (yes that's her name, that or Mizy), she was our first pet and he loves her. But zain is a bit annoying. He's deaf but not mute, and has the LOUDEST purr and meow. And he meow's at midnight, 2 am, 5am and all other odd hours of the night, really loudly and for about 15 minutes at a time. I am a heavy sleeper but Mark isn't, so he wakes up a lot from the cat. I keep telling him he's just preparing us for the babies.

I'm not so sure my poor stomach can hold out that long either, but I suppose it will have to. ahhh life.
