varicose veins

Hi, I was wondering how many people with CF have varicose veins?

There has to be more CF people than just me. Because of my liver disease I have these varicose veins in my stomach, so I would have thought other people with CF and liver disease would have varicose veins as well.

How did they diagnose it? What problems did or do you have because of it?
I can imagine, that more people might have it, but no one knows...

Well the veins can burst and then you vomit up blood. To stop this from happening you have an edoscopy so they can band the veins and stop them from bursting you will need an endoscopy on a regular basis.
