Vent - Cost of Meds

Grrr....just had to vent! I'm self-employed and pay a boat-load for state high-risk insurance ($500/month). I started receiving co-pay assistance for tobi (and am extremely thankful for it!) this year. Today I went to re-order my allergy Rx's and noticed all the charges were really high. I called to find out why...myy annual maximum is already maxed since the tobi goes towards that.

Sigh. I can't beleive how much our meds cost. Not to mention the cost of pulmozyme.

I understand why they're high, but it does suck. Big - time.

the costs are out of controll with or with out insurance. My stage 3 meds ( thats what the insurance calls them) went from 35 bucks to a whopping 75 dollars each . now my medicine costs permonth will be around 800 bucks . i dont know how i survive ??

well in lebanon we pay most of the medications from our pockets so God bless America you should be thankful.
