Last night ds vest starts making a noise like an elephant. And of course it's the holidays. So no delivery tomorrow. Hoping it'll last until Thursday afternoon or we'll be beating ds. 774 hours on this refurbished one. One a good note, the new vests come with locking hoses.

Did you receive a replacement? Hopefully one with locking hoses. I use a Smartvest, not a hill rom, it's nice because it has one hose.
I feel your pain. We did 6 weeks of twice daily Manuel CPT before my daughter got her vest at age 11. We had also done Manuel CPT when my daughter was a toddler and CF was toddler and CF was first suspected. I have such sympathy for those who live where vests are not available. When my daughter is sick Ineasily have energy and strength for extra Manuel CPT because she also has a vest and an Acapella.
The new one arrived the day after Christmas. Vest died the night before, so had to do 3, 30 minute cpt sessions by hand
