Vest

Hi,
I'm new to this forum, so sorry if this is an old topic.
I live in Spain, and have a 21 yr old daughter, Becky, wcf.
We have been going to local meetings at CF association. One of the volunteers there has asked me to find out about a vest for physio. I am also registered on the English CF site and read that America have this vest available. Can anyone tell me if this is so and give me more details about it?

Also, one of the moms on this site has a website where she shows a video of her little 1-2 year old girl doing the vest-it is adorable.

We have no access to the Vest here in Australia either!

This is such a sensitive issue for me because I am so frustrated and disappointed that I have no access to this device here unless I pay an out of pocket expense of $12, 000 (US) for the InCourage system to be shipped over here from the States and I simply cannot afford that sort of money.

It really upsets me to read how everyone in the US benefits from the Vest only to know that I cannot have access to it here. I've enquired with our CF association etc and there are no moves to have the Vest distributed here because of the costs (our insurance / health system is different here, essentially, unless a product is subsidised by the government, like prescription pharmaceuticals, then 'user must pay' for everything !)

You should ask around on the cf board for a used one. Maybe someone has the old model or doesn't benefit from using it.
