Hi all, i wonder if you could help us. We are a family of four with our just 4 year old daughter having CF. We here a lot about the vest but don't have it in the UK.
Questions are
Do you trust it?
Do you do phisio aswell?
How do you know if its working?
Where can you buy?
How much?


We are coming to Orlando next Thursday for two weeks and we would love to visit someone who uses. We would avoid our daughter coming in to contact somehow to avoid cross infection.

Please we would really like to know more.

1. Yes I trust it. It has solid science behind it and has been proven to be superior to manual CPT

2. No i don't do physio as well. HFCC works much better than manual physio

3. How do I know it's working? less infections, coughing up more sputum

4. You can buy one version of it (the latest version created by the original HFCC inventor, Dr. Warwick) at www.respirtech.com

5. Somewhere around $12,000-$16,000

Hi There...
We actually live in Jacksonville. Our daughter, Zoe, will be three in April. She was diagnosed at 12 months. We got her the Incourage vest by respirtech and she has been using it for about 6 weeks or so now. The biggest thing to take into consideration is the size of the vest for her. An accurate measurement has to be taken of your daughter's chest etc. We originally got the 22 inch, but had to step it down to the 20 inch.... which is actually on the way. They are fully adjustable and extremely efficient. Saka was right as far as the product itself.... it's state of the art and has the technical data to back it up..... triangular wave form is very efficient and effective. If you go back through our blogs you will see Zoe in pictures with the vest and if you find the blog with the link to our Zoe for Life montage, I believe my wife added a small video clip of Zoe doing her vest on the montage itself. Take a look. Hope this helps!

They are expensive - best if you can get it through you insurance or try and find a used one - they do come up for sale from time to time.

Be careful. Not all machines are created equally. Different Vests have different waveforms which treat mucus and lungs differently.

Be careful. Not all machines are created equally. Different Vests have different waveforms which treat mucus and lungs differently.
