visit to doctor

So I go to see the doctor at the start of March, hopefully, as he said last year, for the last time. He says he will get a full lung function test done, another headache coming on that day.
So I got the appointment card in for the lung test and its for 4 days after my doctors appointment. Do your doctors do silly things like this, well not the doctors but the admin staff? I mean will it entail another appointment to see him to tell me of the results, not that its a problem getting on a train and going to Glasgow in the middlle of the day for 4 hours when I should be sleeping because i'm on nightshift.

I would call and ask "what the heck???"--and tell them you work nights--that's what I do. I either get my appts in early morning after I get off, or in late afternoon. Good luck. Let us know how it goes.

Every time they tried to set pft's another day (even when it was before my appt) i asked for them to do it on the same day and otherwise change that date.
It took me at least 5 hours to go and get home when i still went to my cf doctor. with 4 hours traveling that is.
In the end they knew i came from far so they scheduled it the same day, but it took a while <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">

I hope this is your last appt and that everything will be ok!
