My dd Mariah is 7 months old and has vomitted almost everyday of her life until recently I did some research on lactose intolerance. I always wrote off the possibility because my husband and me figured if she was lactose intolerant she would vomit every single time she ate, but we didn't realize there are different variations. I did some research on Medicinenet.com (I believe it was this website), and found that it is very common in children with cf and people who have had a small bowel resection. Symptoms can range bloating, pain or cramps, gurgling or rumbling sounds in your belly, gas, loose stools, diarrhea, and throwing up. All of which might lead us to think they need more enzymes. I switched her to a lactose free formula and she has not thrown up since. This was just a god send to us and I just wanted to share this with you guys because I know how hard we fight to get our babies to gain weight. Please let me know if this helps any of you.
