VX 809 Study

Just curious if anybody can sum up how the VX809 study is going? I did see in the other post that it's going to be combined with VX 770. Is the VX 809 drug just like the 770 drug, does it target the defective gene & try to correct it? Any links or articles would be great.

Tracey, mom to Sydney 9 w/cf, type 1 diabetes,& asthma...And Seth, 5 w/cf - both df508

this study has only just started (or concluded) enrolment. It is underway in some areas. It wont conclude til the end of this year I expect. there are some adult cfers in the trial who frequent the other cf forum, not sure about this one.

People in the trial are not allowed to speak about the trial on open forum, but you can always pm people.
