We go on the 15th to a clinic where we are suppose to discuss getting a 30 "trial" prescription of Kalydeco. The dr pretty much told me no, but then said we would discuss it at clinic. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0"> I think he was hoping he might have her results back by then. Hope he is ready to fight cause this momma is ready to fight for her baby. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> This is the email that I received today, after I had emailed MAP (the ones doing the mutation testing through the CFF)<span style="color: #1f497d; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;">:

The lab is beginning to run the second panel of testing. However, according to the lab database, her blood sample was received on May 9<span style="color: #1f497d; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;">th<span style="color: #1f497d; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: x-small;"><span>. Depending on how many other samples the lab received, she should be included in this round of testing. Please note that it can take up to 60 days for the genotyping test to be done, and will take additional time for additional testing. I can follow up with the lab and see when she will be tested. Thank you for your patience in this process!
