we now know where our son's gallbladder went.
While in the hospital 2 weeks ago we had an U/S and the tech looked at me very seriously and asked 'does he have a gallbladder?'.
Needless to say, I think I surprised her with "I think so...."
Having adopted him when he was 6 we didn't get full records and to our knowledge he still had one. She looked a bit confused but we agreed that if she couldn't find it they must have taken it at some point while they had him open.
Well we got some more records yesterday and we found his gallbladder, it is wherever UCI sent it after they took it out 6 years ago!!
I told my wife I was tempted to call the U/S tech and let her know we were right and it really wasn't there <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
