Ohhhh, I'm shaking mad. I just got a call from the lab, and the woman said "Sorry, we our going to need you to bring your baby back in the tech. didn't take enough blood". I thought I was going to loose it. She said I heard they had a real difficult time, and I'm sorry. I told her to call the CF docs, and talk to them first. I do not want to put my son through that again....Ahhh....I hate this....I that it..I hate it...Sorry,

This seems ridiculous. I'd also file a complaint and call and speak with your CF doc about whether the extra blood is in fact necessary... Is there a way you could go next clinic for the "extra" blood? I would be upset too... I'm sorry you're going through this.

That is absurd! I would definitely contact your CF doc, voice dissatisfaction, and make clear an expectation that this not be repeated. It may not be the doc's fault, but they likely have enough sway to put the lab on notice to do a better job with their patients.
