Okay, so in Arizona, we are pretty used to the dryness. But we have some kind of weather system coming in that is bringing moisture.
Can the moisture make the noses run and then of course give them a little congested cough because of the post nasal drip???

blessings to all,
missa

I don't know about that, but when we lived in Richland, Washington, we learned to sleep with the windows closed because any time it was windy, it gave us respiratory problems. In the book Sastun, the old fashioned witch doctor type was big on sleeping with the place all closed up because he believed that the winds brought bad things. I believe wind in a strong storm system can bring allergens from very long distances, therefore stuff you aren't normally exposed to. (If I recall correctly, dust and particulates from Africa gets deposited in the American Southeast by very large storm systems that cross the ocean.)
