weird feeling in my throat

Ok bare with me on this one!
For the last year or so I've had this feeling in my throat, it's like something is breaking free and is popping up to near my tonsils/back of the throat. Giving me the sensation of about to start vomiting - which I haven't done to date. Its getting worse and more irritating as the weeks go by.
I've had an upper endoscope done and was diagnosed with a hernia but they don't think it's related to this sensation.
Anyone any ideas????

Is it actually coming from your tonsils? Have you looked to see if you have white spots on them? Reason I ask is that years ago I had my tonsils removed due to tonsil stones. Chronic tonsilitis -- not a sore throat, but a chronic infection and from time to time little pieces of the infection would make their way to the surface and break off. Was nasty tasting.

Ok this is just a thought. I use to have a weird feeling in the back of my throat but no popping and my Dr sent me to an ENT specialist. I found out my nose was so screwed up with polpys and infection deep in my sinus's that when they would drain it would go to my throat and stop due to dryness of my throat and it would sit there and aggervate my throat. I would constantly clear my throat to get it up not knowing it was stuck their. Maybe your sinus's are acting up.

I am not sure what to tell you but I will put it out there that sometimes your sinus's can affect your throat in weird ways.

Hope you get it figured out soon...

Hugs to all
