What is a "typical" clinic visit like for you?

We have only had about 5 clinic visits so far and I am curious about what all of you do at your clinics?

My daughter is 2 and 1/2 years.
Currently, we see a pulmonologist, social worker, respiratory therapist, nurse and dietician. We do annual blood work and a chest x-ray. We also have a culture done at every visit - every 3 mo.

Are you all seeing anyone else at clinic and are you doing the chest x-rays or CT scans?

joe , who is 8 ,is first weighed then has height measured. he sees dietician, then physiotherapist. he has lung exhalation test followed by a visit to cf consultant where we can discuss any worries we have. they are very kind and thoughtfull and try hard to make it easier on all of us. we do this every 6 weeks. hope that answers your question. be interesting to see how others appts. go. this is in uk by the way.<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

My daughter has a check-up every 2 months and an annual review every 12 months. She sees physiotherapist who does a cough swab, dietician, consultant, paediatric nurse.

For the last 2 clinic visits, we have been seeing the physio, dietician separately before seeing the consultant and paediatric nurse together at the end. We find this better as we can aim our questions, etc separately to each person. Find seeing the consultant on his own at the end is much more relaxing, rather than everyone being in the room.
